How Scoring Works
The scorer records each made basket and its point value. The app handles the running total, quarter time, and team fouls automatically.
Open the live match and tap Start Quarter. The clock starts running.
When a basket is made, tap the scoring player and select the point value (1, 2, or 3).
Log fouls against any player. The app tracks team foul count and triggers bonus free throws automatically.
At the end of each quarter, confirm the score. Continue to the next quarter or end the match.
Point Values
Tap the correct value for each basket. Free throws, field goals, and three-pointers are all tracked separately for player stats.
Fouls and Free Throws
The app tracks personal fouls per player and team fouls per quarter. When the bonus threshold is reached, it prompts for free throw recording.
Foul Tracking
- Personal fouls: up to 5 fouls before a player is disqualified (configurable)
- Team fouls: bonus free throws triggered at 4 team fouls per quarter (standard rules)
- Technical fouls can be logged separately against a player or the bench
- Flagrant fouls result in free throws + possession — enter both outcomes
Recording Free Throws
- Tap the fouled player, then select how many free throws are awarded
- Record each free throw as made or missed — both count toward shooting stats
- The app automatically adds points to the scoreboard for made free throws
