How Scoring Works
Table tennis uses rally scoring — every point counts regardless of who serves. The app rotates service every 2 points automatically and handles the full game-set-match structure.
Open the live match and tap Start Game. Coin toss determines the first server — enter this in the app.
After each point, tap the player who won it. Service switches every 2 points — the app shows who is serving at all times.
Optionally record the shot type — forehand loop, backhand, smash, chop, or service error.
When a game ends, confirm. Players switch ends between games. Start the next game or end the match.
Service Rotation Rules
The app enforces ITTF service rotation rules automatically — you never have to keep count.
| Situation | Service rule |
|---|---|
| Normal play | Each player serves 2 consecutive points, then switches |
| Deuce (10-10) | Service alternates every single point |
| Deciding game (e.g. 5th game) | Players switch ends at 5 points; service pattern continues |
